This Shaker inspired cabinet is an amazing piece to have in even a modern home. It like many other shaker forms can fit into contemporary spaces as well as more traditionally furnished ones. Classic forms, and clean lines, crisp detail really shine on this piece.

Wood: Pennsylvania Black Cherry , White Pine, Poplar
Finish: Oil, Shellac, And wax
The doors stiles, and panels are made from one very wide board of figured cherry. This creates symmetry between the panel and the stiles that encase it. And it’a also a descriptor of thought and craftsmanship.

Constructed with dovetails, and traditional bevels drawer bottoms.
All of the pulls are custom turned. Inspired by classic and well known shaker mushroom style pull. But more slender and lower profile.
The profile On the case top was created with a combination of block planes and spokeshaves.
