A small side Cabinet Ideal for the bedroom, or couch, But can be placed anywhere. Solid wood construction with Hand-cut Dovetail joinery ensures the case will never come apart.
Wood: Rift / Quartered White Oak, Maple, Osage Orange, Western Red Cedar, Basswood.
Finish: Oxidized Oak, Blackened Tung Oil, Oil, and Paste Wax
This entire case has a lot of them, Over 50. Hand cut dovetail drawers will last decades or more, even if the glue fails it will mechanically hold together.
The case Floats on the base and is attached with custom milled Blackened Brass Hardware. This hardware accounts for the seasonal wood movement ensuring a long life for this cabinet.
Western Cedar makes up the Drawer bottoms, and provides excellent resistance to pests or molds.
Shiplapped backboards of Basswood to ensure adequate space for wood movement. But also beautiful to look at.
Each Pull is individually turned on the lathe, Making them all ever so slightly different. These are made of Osage Orange, a Wood traditionally used for fence posts and Self Bows. It’s incredibly hard and rot resistant. These pulls will age over time to become a beautiful amber wheat color.
